Although an electrical inspection is most often thought of as being part of selling or buying a house, it is actually wise to periodically do electrical inspections of the property you have been (and will continue to be) living in. This is because, even if the electrical system of a home was fine when you moved in, these systems can lose efficacy with time, leading to slowly worsening problems that can end in dangerous outcomes such as house fires or, at the very least, chronic annoyances like higher electricity bills as your electrical wiring’s efficiency slowly drops.

During an electrical inspection, we use all the tools available to us to look through your home and check in on your electrical wiring in the least invasive way possible. Specifically, we use a specialized thermal imaging device during our electrical inspections. This allows us to check in on the wiring within your walls without physically seeing it.
The thermal imaging device allows us to see heat signatures within the wall, which can help us to detect any areas of your wiring that are having trouble conducting heat or are overheating enough to the point that they are becoming hazardous. This means that we can often catch problems before they become more apparent, such as by way of flickering lights, overheating sockets, sparking plugs, and things like that.
If it has been a while since your last electrical inspection, please do not hesitate to reach out to us either via email or over the phone during our business hours.
